We prefer food donations that are 100 pounds or more
You are protected from liability
All food suppliers donating food, in good faith, are protected from liabilities by BC’s Food Donor Encouragement Act. The Food Donor Encouragement Act protects corporations and their directors, agents, and employees from liability when donating food or distributing donated food. As long as the food was not donated or distributed with reckless disregard for safety or with the intent to cause harm, this Act provides protection from liability.
