The Rescued Food Market is an affordable and sustainable market stocked with rescued, quality surplus from grocery stores, farms, and wholesalers. Rescued Food is surplus food discarded by suppliers for a variety of reasons including: imperfections, overstocking, and approaching the best-before date. However, it is still edible, healthy, and quality food! 

  • DATE: Weekly on Thursdays   

  • TIME: 3:00 - 7:00 pm (Appointment slot assigned after lottery and registration)

  • FEE: $36 one-time membership fee (3-month membership). Equivalent to $3 per market

  • WHERE: Food Stash Foundation Warehouse (100-290 E 1st Ave, Vancouver, BC)

Membership is required to access the market.

Membership is determined by a randomized lottery after registration.


The current cycle from July 30 - Oct 22 is now full. The next market cycle will begin in October 2026. Public online registration (for both current members and the general public) will begin in October.
